Job Title: Director of Finance

CHOOSE 180 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to oversee the organization's financial operations, ensure fiscal compliance, and drive agency-wide financial strategies that support the mission and growth of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission goals and strategic plan, ensuring fiscal compliance and financial security.
  • Financial Compliance & Accounting: Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and internal controls, evaluating and updating internal controls to incorporate best practices and mitigate financial risks.
  • Financial Analysis & Budgeting: Collaborate with leadership and program staff to develop, monitor, and forecast budgets, exercising sound fiscal responsibility and mitigating financial risks.
  • Financial Reporting: Foster financial transparency, provide financial information, and seek input on finance policies and controls, working closely with the board and finance committee.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead, support, and supervise the finance team, providing supervision and training opportunities, and cultivating a strong team culture of support, growth, and development.
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of financial management experience, with payroll experience and mastery of QBO.
  • Experience with HRIS Rippling, Rippling Spend Management, and LGL a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial and results-oriented, with strong interpersonal and customer care skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and compliance-related lens, with ability to build and maintain policies and procedures.
