Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist

One Medical is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our virtual behavioral health collaborative care program. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of psychiatric concerns and psychosocial issues.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Psychiatric Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of patients referred by their primary care provider, including assessments of depression, anxiety, substance misuse, adult ADHD, trauma, and health anxiety.
- Deliver Ongoing Treatment: Provide ongoing treatment for patients using brief evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapies (ACT, BT, CBT, DBT), brief interpersonal therapy, and other evidenced short-term models.
- Collaborate with Care Teams: Participate in developing and delivering coordinated care plans with behavioral health care managers and psychiatric consultants within a collaborative care model.
- Suicide Risk Assessment: Conduct suicide risk assessment and safety planning visits with patients, including counseling on limiting access to lethal means.
- Population Health Outcomes: Improve population health outcomes by providing consultation on behavioral health issues to primary care team members.
- Caseload Consultations: Participate in regularly scheduled virtual caseload consultations with the patient's Care Manager and other team members involved in the patient's care.
- Education and Consultation: Provide education, care coordination, and consultation with behavioral health care managers and primary care providers.
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed to independently practice with no current supervision requirements.
- Experience: 1 year post-licensure experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy, with a focus on brief, goal-directed, and focused clinical services.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues.
- Technology: Proficient in using technology to deliver high-quality care, including electronic health records and virtual communication platforms.
- Language: Fluency in English, with a strong preference for fluency in Mandarin and Spanish.
- Competitive Salary: $94,000 to $107,000 per year, depending on experience.
