Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our Virtual Behavioral Health Therapist team. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services to patients through virtual consultations. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients with a range of mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other brief, goal-directed interventions
  • Collaborate with patients' primary care providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Participate in rounds with psychiatric consultants and care managers to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations to support short-term disability and provide certification of short-term disability
  • Provide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providers on mental health topics and best practices
  • Oversee referrals to specialty mental health services and support a smooth transition from specialty mental health services to primary care and back
  • Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Providers across our national network to improve behavioral health skills company-wide

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology) with an active license in California
  • Must have at least 1 year of post-licensure experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapy
  • Must have experience providing a range of brief, goal-directed, and focused clinical services
  • Must have exceptional capacity to multitask, be flexible, and be comfortable with ambiguity
  • Must have strong communication and teaching skills
  • Must be willing to work 40 hours per week, including 80% direct patient care and 20% administrative time
  • Must be eligible to be credentialed with our Health System Partner
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong preference for fluency in Mandarin or Spanish
  • Must reside within the USA or US Territories
  • Virtual psychotherapy experience preferred
