Nurse - New Baltimore MI

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer nursing care to residents, including medication management, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in residents' conditions, ensuring timely notification to physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records, including resident charts and progress notes.
- Modify resident care plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions, ensuring continuous improvement and quality care.
- Direct or supervise LPN/CNA/RA staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate residents' care plans.
- Perform physical assessments, notify physicians as indicated, and follow medical directives to ensure resident safety and well-being.
- Follow facility infection control programs, advising or consulting with specified personnel regarding necessary precautions to prevent the spread of infection.
- Address residents' needs and determine how to assist them, promoting independence and dignity.
- Administer prescribed medications as ordered by physicians or in response to emergency situations, recording times, amounts, and summaries on resident charts.
- Current registration and licensure from the State of Michigan.
- Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Six months to one year geriatric experience preferred.
This is a full-time position, working midnights and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
