Job Summary
This role involves performing tasks and communication related to patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products with patients/clients, co-workers, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with updating respiratory grid, clear previous day's route, communicate with patients and referral sources, complete standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documents on tracking logs, process paperwork, maintain referral log, monitor office supplies, prepare deposit for location on a weekly basis, prepare invoices for next day routes, provide technical assistance to customers, verify Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance coverage information, work with outside agencies to resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; one year of related work experience preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Able to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations, effectively communicate in English, interpret a variety of communications, maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information, multi-task along with attention to detail, self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), Medical, Dental and Vision, Life Insurance and Disability, Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays, Employee Discount Program, Employee Recognition Program, Bonus and Incentive Opportunities, Mileage reimbursement, Telephone reimbursement.
