Job Overview
  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work in post-acute facilities in the area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing, both physical and mental, and track their vital signs.
  • Conduct intakes, document health concerns and medical history of residents.
  • Administer and properly verify medications and monitor their effects.
  • Review residents' charts and medical records.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable facility environment.
  • Maintain stocks of medical supplies.
  • Participate in IV set up, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures.
  • Help with the orientation and training of medical staff.
Requirements
  • A current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program.
  • A high school diploma (or GED/equivalent).
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a related role.
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
