Job Description:
This position will oversee the Geospatial Technologies program, providing technical leadership and guidance to staff members. Key responsibilities include managing project workloads, mentoring team members, and ensuring timely status updates are communicated to project teams and managers. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with office directors, resource leads, and GIS staff to provide responsive support for projects and field efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment and be able to prioritize resources effectively to meet project deadlines. Estimated salary: $80,808 - $102,648 per year based on location and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience, including 5 years of professional GIS work beyond university attendance, is required. The successful candidate will also have experience supervising or mentoring GIS professionals, proficiency in Esri ArcGIS 10.x and ArcGIS Pro 2.x or higher, and knowledge of cartography and computer mapping principles. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in a related field and prior experience in environmental consulting or natural/cultural resources management. Experience marketing GIS services to clients and working on multiple complex projects with short timelines is also beneficial.
