Biomedical Equipment Specialist I

to join our team.


Sodexo's expanding Healthcare Technology Management Division is in search of candidates who are solution-oriented and excel in customer service, with a proven track record as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Specialist I to support Healthcare Technology services.


The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring that all biomedical equipment is serviced with quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service and communication skills, along with strong technical abilities and a dedication to providing excellent repair services promptly.


The ideal Biomedical Equipment Specialist I will possess:
a minimum of 1 year of experience in the repair, maintenance, and calibration of medical devices independently and/or equivalent college coursework in related fields
experience in a healthcare or hospital environment
experience with minor repairs
the capability to make informed decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices
excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering, or a discipline focused on managing, maintaining, and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare setting and/or equivalent military BMET program and/or AAMI certification.
