Summary

We are currently in search of a seasoned Mechanical Construction Project Manager to oversee mechanical construction initiatives, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget across multiple sectors such as Semiconductor, Data Center, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Manufacturing. Candidates should possess 5-7 years of project management experience in construction, ideally with a Mechanical Contractor background. Military experience is highly valued.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following responsibilities are integral to this role, with additional tasks likely assigned:

  • Oversee the successful execution of all project components;
  • Manage project operations, including labor productivity, scope management, construction timelines, client interactions, job cost management, and compliance with project specifications;
  • Prepare monthly financial forecasts and updates;
  • Implement and enforce the Safety Program in collaboration with the Safety Director to maintain site safety standards;
  • Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services with the purchasing department;
  • Ensure thorough processing of all project documentation and timely submissions;
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational plans;
  • Direct and supervise the activities of team members.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in mechanical construction project management or plumbing project management, preferably with a Mechanical Contractor;
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or a minimum of 8 years of combined experience in field installation and project management within the mechanical industry, including at least 5 years leading complex multi-million dollar projects;
  • Proven knowledge and experience to satisfactorily perform essential duties;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, including Bluebeam Revu and Vista-Viewpoint;
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.

Work Environment

Employees can expect to work in an office setting as well as travel to field locations. While on-site, exposure to outdoor conditions and various mechanical and electrical environments is common.
