Join SpaceX as a Sr. Automation and Test Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space technology to make humanity a multi-planetary species. As a Sr. Automation and Test Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and deploying the next generation of space-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and build test platforms to validate Starlink software
  • Develop software for test execution across multiple environments, including hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized hardware simulations
  • Invent tools for continuous integration and release systems
  • Analyze test results and identify bugs for in-depth investigations
  • Work closely with developers to provide a reliable, fast, and accurate integrated test platform
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in test system development, system administration, DevOps, software, or hardware development
  • Linux and Bash proficiency, experience with networking protocols, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong skills in troubleshooting, debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing
