Job Description

JobRialto is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases and test scenarios for various software features and components.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for various software features and components.
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for software improvement and enhancement.
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues and defects using various tools and techniques.
  • Report and document test results and defects in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Windows software testing and system debugging.
  • Experience in software coding and development of software and testing tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.

Performance Measures:

  • Completion of all mandatory trainings.
  • Adherence to testing methodologies and compliance process.
  • Adherence to project schedule and timelines.
  • Quick turnaround on defect filing, tracking, and close follow-up and tests based on project SLA.
  • Number of bugs filed, analyzed, closed as per set targets.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge in hardware engineering with strong knowledge of C, C++, Python, and relevant languages.
  • Strong knowledge of automation programming or strong knowledge of debugging techniques and methodologies.
  • Comprehension of hardware design for automation purposes.
  • Knowledge in microcontroller/processors 8/16/32, DSP/SoC-based hardware architectures.
  • Knowledge in protocol interfaces I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Display, PCIe, Type-C, Wi-Fi, BT.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
