Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Equipment Specialist to join our team at Reliance One, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic systems, including assembly cells, conveyor systems, and robots
- Diagnose and resolve issues with electrical and pneumatic systems, including reading and understanding electrical and hydraulic prints
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues and machine malfunctions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in manufacturing equipment and machinery
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Proficient in PLC and robotic programming, with experience in diagnosing issues via HMI or PLC
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
- High school diploma or GED required; vision system experience is preferred
