The Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Development Sourcing Associate to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing potential development opportunities, conducting market analysis, and coordinating with internal and external consultants to evaluate feasibility and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industrial development sector.
- Assess the viability of potential development projects, including site planning, entitlement mapping, and environmental risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling presentations and reports to support development assumptions and pitch new opportunities to stakeholders.
- Internally track and document all new opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Proven experience in land sourcing, underwriting, industrial development, or associated areas is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to identify industry trends, assess financial viability, and identify risks associated with development opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
