About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our factory leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting factory-wide efforts and driving technical and logistical improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
  • Leverage knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions and results from new designs to recurring production
  • Design, control, and improve the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Lead and coordinate projects, efforts, and improvements across the extended value streams
  • Act as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program
  • Act as a mentor and trainer to manufacturing engineers
  • Identify and resolve constraints across the program
  • Participate in corrective action investigation
  • Provide technical input and peer review to engineering design changes
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving to factory engineers
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to identify, reduce, and eliminate cost, quality, and schedule constraints through technical engagements
  • Understand and utilize factory and program performance data
  • Ability to work or lead in groups and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Experience with MRP systems, including SAP
  • Experience with DOD financial reporting systems, including EAC and EVMS processes
  • Experience teaching, training, and/or mentoring manufacturing systems to junior engineers
  • Experience communicating technical information to different audiences
  • Current DOD Security Clearance
