Position Summary:
We are in search of a proactive and skilled Warehouse Operations Lead to become part of our team. In this role, you will manage the daily functions of the warehouse, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in warehouse management, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to upholding safety and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee a team of warehouse personnel, offering guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that all processes are executed accurately and punctually.
  • Monitor stock levels and conduct regular inventory audits to maintain precise records.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, fostering a secure working environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the flow of materials and products.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement strategies to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on warehouse activities, including inventory status, shipment updates, and team performance metrics.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of warehouse staff.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
