Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations (75%):
    • Inventory Management: Effectively manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and organization of products.
    • Shipping Standards: Accurately pick, pull, prepare, package, and palletize products from shelves in compliance with sales orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    • Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents, including packing slips and invoices, to ensure accurate order processing.
    • Safety and Compliance: Safely operate a forklift to transport pallets throughout the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Delivery Driving (25%):
    • Delivery and Receipt: Safely transport products to and from farms, veterinary clinics, and other locations, upholding high standards of service and reliability.
    • Route Planning and Execution: Operate a semi-truck in compliance with CDL and DOT regulations, planning and executing routes efficiently.
    • Customer Engagement: Meet customers at pick-up and drop-off locations, providing exceptional customer service and representing Armor Animal Health.
    Requirements
    • Experience and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum 1-3 years of experience driving semi-trucks. CDL Class A required, with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required within 60 days of hire.
    • Technical Proficiency: Forklift certification preferred, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with computers, ERP systems, and electronic logs.
    • Adaptability and Self-Reliance: Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently, with minimal supervision.
    Physical and Environmental Conditions
    • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver a pallet jack with loads up to 2,500 pounds, and climb ladders.
    • Work Environment: Ability to sit for long periods of time, walk on concrete floors, and stand at a desk while using a computer.
