About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist II to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing advanced Breast Imaging procedures and maintaining equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality Breast Imaging procedures according to exam protocols in a timely manner.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to identify service requirements, ensure correct exams are performed on the correct patients, and establish rapport with patients and others.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
  • Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Ensure people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.
  • Obtain, verify, and maintain all relevant documentation, such as requisitions, patient histories, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions taken, consent forms, policies, and procedures, etc.
  • Maintain medical imaging records in appropriate systems and according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • 2 Years of Experience
  • ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R) Certification/License/Registration
