As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing advanced breast imaging procedures, including stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures according to exam protocol, ensuring timely and accurate results.
- Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients about the exam process, their role, and any necessary preparations.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Protect patients and staff by adhering to safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation policies.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards, ensuring optimal operational capabilities.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information, exam results, and any necessary follow-up actions.
- 2 years of experience in mammography or related field.
- ARRT-R Radiography certification.
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal supervision, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
