The Line Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. As a Line Cook, you will be part of a dynamic team that works together to create memorable moments for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook food items to the highest standards, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental rules.
- Follow Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.
- Maintain proper food temperatures and ensure the cleanliness of kitchen areas, including shelves, walls, floors, and drains.
- Participate as a team player, contributing to the preparation, service, and delivery of high-quality products.
- Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Professional training through a culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility.
- Ability to interact with colleagues to ensure compliance with company service standards.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
- Ability to work all Prudential Center events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
