Job Title: Line Cook

The Line Cook is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Line Cook to join our team at Monmouth Park.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook food items to the highest standards, adhering to portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental rules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation standards and company guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Supervisors to ensure seamless service and efficient food preparation.
  • Participate in team efforts to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards.
Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Professional training through a culinary education or experience in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining restaurant or catering facility.
  • Ability to interact with colleagues to ensure compliance with company service standards.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work all Prudential Center events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training preferred.
  • Three years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-end club or restaurant.
