Job Summary: Elite Building Services is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee cleaning operations at Milwaukee Airport. This role will supervise two shifts of cleaners responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across airport terminals, offices, ticketing areas, and staff break rooms and restrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cleaning teams, handling client relations, overseeing supply management, conducting inspections, and utilizing Avetech technology to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage two shifts of cleaning staff, ensuring all areas of the airport, including terminals, offices, ticketing areas, and staff break and restrooms, are consistently cleaned to the highest standards.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and ensure proper staff coverage across all shifts.
  • Manage Avetech technology for efficient cleaning operations and performance tracking.
  • Oversee inventory and distribution of cleaning supplies, equipment, and PPE.
  • Conduct routine inspections of all cleaned areas and implement corrective actions when necessary to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with airport management and key client contacts.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve any operational challenges and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to cleaning staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all airport safety and security regulations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Requirements:

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in the commercial cleaning or janitorial industry, preferably in high-traffic environments like airports.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning practices, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with Avetech or similar cleaning management technology is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage relationships with both staff and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
