About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Specialist to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our lead systems integration team, you will play a critical role in the upgrade of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chief Engineer, Lead Systems Engineer, and Program Manager across functional disciplines for the design, development, integration, and testing of GMLRS rocket upgrades.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the GMLRS system and its sub-systems, including electronic safe and arm devices, guidance, propulsion, and control.
  • Collaborate with senior-level engineers to enhance your professional development in the systems engineering discipline.
  • Track system engineering metrics to measure the development progress of the GMLRS upgrade program.
  • Utilize DOORS to manage the parent/child specification hierarchy, requirements, and traceability of the project.
  • Generate CDRLs for multiple programs using IBM Rational Publishing Engine.
  • Ensure the completeness and consistency of attributes and linkages within programs' DOORS environments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an engineering-related discipline or other STEM field.
  • 3 to 5 years or more of related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of systems engineering practices, processes, and tasks.
  • Significant experience working with a requirements management system.
  • Broad and in-depth working knowledge of requirements management and analysis.
  • Experience with database design/architecture and management.
  • Ability to work across program teams to identify and resolve problems.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
