Plainsboro, New Jersey, United States Pennsylvania Medicine Full time
Penn Medicine is a leading academic medical center dedicated to providing the highest level of care to patients. Our tripartite mission involves conducting innovative research and educating future leaders in the field of medicine, while collaborating with top clinical, technical, and business professionals across all disciplines.

We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients, who are suffering from anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders. Our state-of-the-art medical and psychiatric care facilities provide patients with immediate access to full-service care for their medical needs. As a Registered Nurse in our Eating Disorders unit, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to support the implementation of treatments and therapy as per patient care plans. You will meet the physical and emotional needs of patients in a helpful, honest, responsible, respectful, and empathic manner.

In this role, you will assess client health and well-being daily, promptly reporting concerns to the physician and other team members who need to know. You will communicate pertinent nursing and care plan-related information to direct care staff on a daily basis and ensure 'hand-off' communication each shift. You will participate in treatment team meetings, contribute to the client care plan on a regular basis, and develop and maintain patient treatment plans. You will also serve as a liaison between physicians and clients, answering questions about medication changes, physician appointments, and health-related issues in a language the client can understand.

We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees. Our comprehensive compensation and benefits program includes one of the finest prepaid tuition assistance programs in the region. As a Registered Nurse at Penn Medicine, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful contribution to the lives of our patients. We offer a competitive salary of approximately $93,000 per year, which may vary based on experience and location. Additionally, we offer up to $8,000 per year in tuition assistance, making it an ideal choice for those looking to advance their careers.
