Job Summary:

Seven Counties Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Social Worker/Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients, including individual and group therapy, family and marital therapy, and crisis intervention. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services, including therapy programs and techniques, to clients with varying levels of need and disability.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service documentation, including psychosocial assessments, case notes, and court reports.
  • Conduct case reviews and develop treatment plans, including after-care plans, based on client progress and professional opinion.
  • Collaborate with external agents, including CHR, school officials, and other health agencies, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, and clinical seminars to stay up-to-date on best practices and program developments.
  • Write correspondence on behalf of clients and their families, including court reports and letters of recommendation.
  • Conduct case presentations and consultations with other agencies to promote program awareness and services.
  • Develop and coordinate clinical programs within the division to meet the needs of clients and the community.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work and LCSW licensure.
  • Compliance with Kentucky social work board statutes, laws, and regulations on clinical practices or Master's degree in social services field with certification or licensure in area of specialization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Four to six years direct social work experience, including four years post-master's clinical social work.
  • Advanced knowledge of mental and physical characteristics of applicable population, psychotherapy, human behavior, and related issues and community resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Potential to undertake supervisory/leadership responsibilities.
  • Ability to handle case load with varying levels of client disability and need.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Position has some unusual physical demands, including occasional exposure to threat of bodily harm from clients or their families.
  • Normal work tasks may involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue.
  • Position at times may require incumbent to remain on twenty-four hour call.
  • Reliable transportation for frequent travel between work sites.
