Position Summary

The Theater Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager and other management staff in the seamless operation of the cinema. Key responsibilities include overseeing shifts, training team members, addressing customer concerns, managing financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with closing procedures. This position is hourly and includes access to building keys.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and oversee team members to designated roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct follow-ups to guarantee tasks are executed efficiently and within timeframes.
  • Uphold exceptional standards of customer service, visual presentation, and safety protocols.
  • Facilitate training for both new hires and current staff across all operational roles.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Monitor food preparation levels to meet operational demands.
  • Assess staffing requirements for each shift.
  • Assist in maintaining safety and emergency procedures.
  • Regulate employee breaks in accordance with state regulations.
  • Complete financial deposits and necessary shift documentation.
  • Support management in promotional activities.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with projection staff to maintain high-quality film presentations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: A high school diploma is required. Previous experience in customer service and leadership roles is essential, with 1-2 years in a theater environment preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft applications and email communication is necessary. Candidates should possess analytical skills to identify solutions and alternatives effectively. Familiarity with basic accounting, mathematical skills, and point-of-sale systems is required. Candidates must be able to operate various mechanical devices, including cash registers and food service equipment.

Physical Requirements: The role requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Employees must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds and possess good vision capabilities.
