Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at the Dant Clayton Corporation. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality pricing proposals to customers and collaborating with our sales and engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Review RFI's, drawings, specifications, and procedural information related to railing heights, materials (type, strength, weight, and finish), mounting conditions, installation parts (guard rails, top caps, shoe moldings, infills, anchors, washers, studs, reinforcements, bars, connections, beams, channels, tees, etc.), fabrication methods (grinding, buffing, galvanizing, powder coating)
- Develop detailed takeoffs from design renderings, specifications, and architectural and technical drawings corresponding to engineering, manufacturing, and construction of architectural and commercial stainless steel, aluminum, and glass railings, and corresponding installation packages
- Estimate required labor, service, and materials necessary to fabricate and install railing, guardrails, top caps, shoe moldings, infills, anchors, washers, studs, reinforcements, bars, connections, beams, channels, tees, and various finishes
- Communicate frequently with Sales, Engineering, Production, and Project Management to understand scope, timelines, applicable project deadlines, and any changes made to original proposal

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience estimating from conceptual, schematic, and design development drawings
- Experience working with take-offs, bid documents, scope sheets
- Expertise reading and interpreting contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Strong math, technical writing, and verbal communication skills

Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
