Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide technical support to physicians and ensure the care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent technical support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, implementing procedural standards and protocols.
  • Provide patient care specific to procedural requirements and patient needs, under the supervision of physicians and Cath Lab nursing personnel.
  • Support and educate patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and interact effectively with all customers.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology.
  • Current RT License in the State of Illinois.
  • Current ARRT Registry.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
  • Typically requires 1+ years of Interventional (IR) or procedural experience (Cath Lab, OR, IR).
