Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled RN Cath Lab Specialist to join our team. As a Cath Lab Nurse, you will play a critical role in helping doctors perform cardiac catheterizations to diagnose and treat heart conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including vital sign monitoring, lab result review, and medication administration.
  • Assist doctors during heart catheterization procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs and being prepared to intervene in case of an emergency.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, and provide reassurance and insight into what to expect during and after the procedure.
  • Interact with patients and their families, educating them on the procedure and recovery process.
  • Relay patient concerns and questions to physicians, and inform them of any changes in the patient's condition.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient charts, and ensure that supplies, including medications and emergency equipment, are stocked and organized.
Requirements
  • RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in the Cath Lab.
  • Active AHA BLS, ACLS Certification required, TNCC preferred.
