About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Good Food Holdings. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for preparing, designing, and decorating cakes, as well as performing various duties to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare cakes, icings, and other necessary items for decorating
  • Decorate cakes within specified timeframes for customer orders
  • Follow FIFO rotation system and maintain product quality and sanitation
  • Take bakery orders and serve customers with a smile
  • Decorate cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods for display and bakery counter
  • Inspect products during baking and preparation to maintain quality and sanitation
  • Know all cleaning chemicals authorized in the Bakery Department and understand proper usage
Requirements
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
