Position Overview
The Factoring Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing daily collateral and loan analysis for a designated portfolio of Wintrust Receivable Finance clients and facilitating the onboarding of new clients.

Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with the Assistant Portfolio Manager, you will:
  • Maintain effective communication regarding assigned accounts to ensure thorough portfolio monitoring.
  • Monitor and update ticklers, ensuring compliance with collateral reporting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial statements, etc.).
  • Review and manage Account Debtor purchase limits, ensuring timely assessments and updates.
  • Review and approve assignment schedules post-processing.
  • Address any inquiries or issues related to collateral and reporting requirements with borrowers and authorize daily client advance requests.
  • Complete necessary Credit Approval documentation for prospects, renewals, and line increases.
  • Participate in portfolio reviews and analyze trend cards.
  • Adhere to Bank Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in factoring and/or receivables finance, including commercial underwriting.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills for interaction with all levels of management, clients, and legal representatives.
  • The ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
