Position Overview:

As a Field Emergency Medical Technician with AMR Corp., you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional medical services to our business clients. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to non-emergency requests for on-site medical assistance and drug testing services, ensuring high standards of patient care and customer satisfaction within the established guidelines and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations and provide first aid treatment as necessary.
  • Stay updated on treatment protocols and quality assurance measures relevant to your role.
  • Perform drug screening and specimen collection, maintaining necessary certifications for alcohol testing.
  • Keep abreast of changes in company policies and client profiles as outlined in the Mobile Health Care manual.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding vehicle operation.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies.
  • Develop navigation skills to efficiently locate client sites.
  • Maintain the readiness of your unit, ensuring mechanical reliability and adequate medical supplies.
  • Document all relevant information as per company guidelines.
  • Uphold cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned vehicle and work area.
  • Report any issues or irregularities to the Mobile Health Care manager promptly.
  • Adhere to professional appearance standards, including hygiene and uniform requirements.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions and represent the company at events as needed.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with clients' medical personnel.
  • Engage in business development activities to attract new clients.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction with services provided.
Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • State of California EMT License.
  • CA Ambulance Driver's License.
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association, Health Care Provider).
  • Completion of ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B.
