The Manufacturing Operations Leader will oversee the daily production workflow, ensuring effective staffing, training, and work planning.

Set and evaluate production KPIs in collaboration with process technicians and production supervisors. Ensure that appropriate action plans are created and executed to address variances and meet targets.

Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other internal stakeholders to accurately manage both short-term and long-term scheduling.

Ensure compliance with the quality management system and foster a culture focused on delivering consistently high-quality products.

Assist in establishing productivity metrics for each process area and contribute to the development and review of production and cost variance reports to address operational challenges and minimize costs.

Engage in the monthly and annual budgeting process, justifying expenditure requests in collaboration with the Plant Controller and senior leadership to formulate sound business plans for capital investments.

Utilize lean and continuous improvement methodologies to identify and implement process enhancements that lead to sustainable on-time delivery and reduced lead times and waste.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, though a combination of experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree, with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in people, project, or account management, demonstrating leadership and influencing skills.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in flexible packaging, converting, print manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and analysis.
- Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Experience in budget planning and P&L management.
- Strong communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize effectively and provide and receive direction.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a quick aptitude for learning new procedures and industry advancements.
