Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fitter-Welder Specialist to join our team at Weldall Manufacturing, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to structural steel fabrication and welding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Structural Steel Fabrication: Layout and fabricate structural steel components, including beams, columns, and other steel shapes, to meet customer specifications.
  • Welding and Assembly: Perform welding operations, including shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and flux cored arc welding (FCAW), to assemble and fabricate steel components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Material Handling: Move and handle steel components and equipment, including the use of forklifts and cranes, to facilitate production.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other production team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of two years of experience as a fitter-welder in a heavy manufacturing environment, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move around the production floor.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and welding techniques, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
