Power Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative products from concept through to production.
Provide engineering support for field service challenges.
Conduct inspections on vehicle components and assemblies.
Create both preliminary and detailed design schematics.
Engage in engineering projects and collaborative meetings.
Assist in the research and evaluation of new materials and engineering methodologies.
Prepare and refine technical documentation for operation, maintenance, and parts manuals.
Compile and organize comprehensive bills of materials for procurement.
Collaborate with Electrical Drafters to generate electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Draft technical specifications for client submissions.
Willingness to travel up to 20% across the US and Canada.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within a manufacturing setting is preferred. Experience in the rail or transit sector is highly desirable.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Solid Modeling Software.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Strong technical writing proficiency.
