Under the direction of the Diagnostic Radiology Manager and the Shift Supervisor, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation. Key responsibilities include performing ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, and other diagnostic procedures, as well as troubleshooting equipment problems and ensuring the smooth workflow of patient flow and proper care and use of equipment and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, and other diagnostic procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and ensure proper function
- Ensure smooth workflow of patient flow and proper care and use of equipment and materials
- Document patient information and procedure details in PACS or EPIC
- Respond to codes and other emergency situations appropriately
- Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in PACS and EMR systems
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
