We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse RN to join our Float Pool PRN team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct patient assessments, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Current State of Indiana Registered Nurse License or compact license required.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic knowledge of JCAHO, CMS, and ISBH standards, rules, and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of performance improvement concepts and unit activities.
- BLS certification required.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training completion within 30 days of hire and maintenance of certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
