Salary: Estimated $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience.

About the Role:

The Clinical Educator is a key member of our team at Northern Light Health. This role involves assisting with the development and execution of educational programs and orientation of clinical personnel. The incumbent will work closely with interdisciplinary colleagues to design and implement evidence-based programs that support organizational priorities. The Clinical Educator is responsible for competency assessment and practice initiatives that promote clinical and professional excellence within the nursing community.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct annual educational needs assessments for clinical employees in collaboration with clinical leaders and the Professional Development Council.
* Plan, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs in collaboration with managers, directors, the VP/CNO of Patient Care Services, Academic agencies, and other disciplines.
* Assist in placing nursing and medical assistant students from various universities, colleges, and training programs and facilitate their orientation and clinical preceptorship.
* Integrate research into developing and teaching educational programs, and evaluate overall program effectiveness.
* Maintain a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures, and report environmental hazards and patient safety policy violations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
* Current RN licensure in Maine or eligible for licensure by reciprocity.
* BLS certification required.
