Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

Join Northern Light Health as a Clinical Research Nurse and contribute to the advancement of medical research in our region. As a member of our Cardiology Research team, you will have the opportunity to work with investigators, IRBs, and the medical community to implement, execute, and maintain clinical studies based on specific protocols.
About the RoleThis role is responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team, supporting change within the institution and unit, and collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, pharmacy, and accounting to ensure that protocol registration-enrollment procedures are followed. You will also be responsible for educating and guiding patients and families through the clinical trial consenting process, collaborating with the pharmacist to educate and guide Research staff and inpatient staff about investigational agents and/or investigational administration methods, and documenting all aspects of patient-staff education-care.
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will work closely with other disciplines to effectively manage care as prescribed by the clinical trial and actively participate in Research meetings by providing insights, suggestions, observations, and following up on any requests generated by the meetings. You will also maintain an effective system facilitating completion of clinical trial requirements, enroll only fully eligible patients, promptly report serious adverse events, and complete iCare and attend EMPLOYEE UPDATES.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse with a High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) to fill this exciting role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
