Job Summary:

Kings Dominion is seeking talented individuals to join our entertainment team as Haunt / Winterfest performers. We are looking for singers, dancers, and instrumentalists to perform in a variety of styles for our fall and winter shows. Experienced actors are also needed to bring our characters to life throughout the Haunt and Winterfest season.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform as a dancer or actor in assigned role and costume, interacting with guests and maintaining show integrity.
  • Attend rehearsals and learn choreography/character work for all shows and performances assigned.
  • Posing for photos and doing meet and greets with guests, maintaining assigned costume look and reporting repair needs to the proper personnel.
  • Additional media appearances may be required on top of regular schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Previous professional/educational experience in voice, dancing, acting, or your chosen instrument, with the ability to sing and maintain pitch and demonstrate knowledge of music and various musical styles.
  • Must be willing to work in outdoor environments in assigned costume.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Open availability for duration of employment.
  • Must meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to work well without constant supervision.
  • Meet Park standards for performance and conduct.
  • Must follow all Park and Entertainment COVID policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements, and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adhere to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Resume and performance reel submission required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing schedules.

Working Conditions:

Performers will work in outdoor environments, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to work in inclement weather.
