We are in search of a Client Relations Specialist to facilitate seamless interactions with our customers throughout the sales journey. This role requires a commitment to exemplary customer service and professionalism, as well as the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for upselling our products to both existing and prospective clients. Additionally, this position entails maintaining relationships with distributors and key accounts, providing pricing quotes, processing orders, and addressing customer inquiries efficiently.
The ideal candidate will exhibit outstanding customer service capabilities and maintain a positive demeanor, effectively communicating to deliver prompt and accurate resolutions to customer needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and nurture positive relationships with customers
- Receive and process orders from clients via phone and email
- Ensure accurate order entry with correct pricing and provide confirmation, shipping, and delivery details to customers
- Monitor key accounts and follow up on orders proactively
- Encourage and promote positive customer feedback
- Assist in resolving any order-related issues and follow up as necessary
- Address all inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision
- Exceptional customer service skills with strong organizational and follow-up abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in problem-solving and effective communication, both verbally and in writing, across all levels of the organization
- Competent in computer applications, including Windows, MS Office, Excel, EDI, and Customer Portals
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Preferred experience in a manufacturing customer service role, interacting with various departments such as purchasing, shipping, and sales
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- At least 2 years of prior customer service experience, ideally in a business-to-business manufacturing context
This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
