Position Overview:

The STEM Education Facilitator will play a pivotal role in enhancing educational programs by delivering engaging instruction across various grade levels at our affiliated educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver effective classroom instruction for students from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Collaborate with program staff and community partners during weekly educational sessions.
  • Assist in the development of instructional materials to enrich the learning experience.
  • Participate in weekly professional development and lesson planning meetings.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Undertake other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of collegiate-level coursework in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine, public health, nursing, or a related discipline.
Experience:
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in an educational environment is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management tools.
  • Familiarity with general office procedures.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proactive in identifying issues and following through on resolutions.
Job Complexity:
  • This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage numerous inquiries effectively.
Physical Requirements:
  • The physical demands of this position include frequent standing, walking, sitting, climbing, and reaching.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Work Environment:
  • The work environment may involve occasional confinement and requires adaptability to various settings.
Mental Requirements:
  • This position involves a variety of tasks requiring sustained concentration, reasoning, and analytical skills.
