This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to create HVAC and plumbing systems for buildings. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who excels in client relations, offers innovative solutions, and possesses a robust technical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage projects effectively while being engaged in the design of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and plumbing systems for buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide support during the bidding and construction phases.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
  • Possession of an EIT or PE Certificate.
  • Experience in building energy modeling.
  • Strong client interfacing skills.
  • Excellent technical writing abilities.
  • Expertise in MEP Design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Preferred Skills:

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Experience in healthcare systems.
  • Knowledge of hydronics and plumbing.
  • Understanding of energy systems.
  • Support experience in construction.
  • Familiarity with BMS Controls.
  • Experience in building modeling.
  • Knowledge of California Building Codes.

This position requires some regional travel to various job sites.
