We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital – Springfield. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their unique needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and registered nurses
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited licensed practical/vocational nurse program
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
  • CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • IV Certified or obtained within 6 months
  • Minimum six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
