Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to deliver pre- and post-sales assistance, which includes discovery sessions, site evaluations, proposal creation, presentations, technical assessments, implementation, and ongoing technical account oversight.
  • Install and manage Windows Servers and Active Directory.
  • Design and implement Local Area Networks.
  • Establish and oversee network security measures.
  • Enhance and maintain network software and hardware.
  • Construct and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions.
  • Configure and implement VOIP systems.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for network infrastructure.
  • Administer Microsoft Exchange Server.
  • Manage telephone solutions.
  • Monitor alert systems and respond according to established protocols.
  • Utilize event log messages to facilitate repairs.
  • Handle escalated service requests that necessitate advanced responses.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new users.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role, such as sales engineering.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients at a business level to address their historical and current technology-related challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
  • Experience in drafting proposals and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a collaborative team member.
  • In-depth understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, outstanding customer service abilities, and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools, such as Kaseya or Connectwise, is advantageous.
  • Experience with PSA (ticketing software solutions), such as Autotask, is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, Sonicwall, among others, is beneficial.
  • Experience in an MSP environment is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert).
  • CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications are a notable advantage.
