Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Services Technician to join our team at Allan Hancock College. This is a full-time, 37-hours-per-week, 12-month, classified position. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our department, ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing excellent customer service to our students, staff, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the department, including answering phones, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
  • Assist with event planning, including coordinating logistics and communicating with vendors.
  • Provide technical support for office equipment and software.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Two years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Working Conditions

This is an in-person position, and the successful candidate will be required to work on campus. The work schedule is Monday/Wednesday/Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; and Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
