Job Summary
North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Child Care Center PRN - Day. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our young students.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our educational goals and objectives.
- Plan and implement special activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a positive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings and educational programs to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to lesson planning, record-keeping, and evaluation processes.
- Meet the requirements for 15 hours of staff development.
Requirements
- Ability to relate to children in a kind and compassionate manner.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and write English to communicate effectively.
- Prior experience in early childhood education or a related field.
- CPR Certification and knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
Education Requirements
- Associates of Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Bachelors of Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Additional Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or Project Search Graduate or higher.
