Responsibilities
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical nutrition expertise through nutritional assessments and documentation.
- Assessing potential nutritional risks and implementing appropriate medical nutrition therapy interventions.
- Providing nutritional counseling and education for patients and families within care communities.
- Collaborating with the dining department to ensure nutrition plans are executed effectively.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- A Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
- Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred, but not required).
