Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

Choctaw Global is seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to active duty Special Operations personnel, retired military members, and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement policies and conduct screenings, clinical counseling, and case management services.
  • Provide a spectrum of behavioral health interventions, including interviewing, behavioral assessment, and evidenced-based therapies.
  • Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, military commanders, and school districts as required.
  • Maintain accurate and current notes in the paper medical records and electronic medical records of all patients seen.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Current, unrestricted clinical license to independently practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) as certified by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior military and/or SOF experience.
  • Experience working in a Government setting such as DOD or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MTF.
  • Prior experience in Substance Abuse/Disorder Treatment.
