Overview


Emory Healthcare seeks experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our Hospital Medicine Team. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.


About the Role


This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary of $83,950.00 per year, with additional compensation for experience and qualifications.


The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities



  • Evaluate and treat patients with various medical conditions
  • Document patient care in electronic medical records
  • Conduct patient interviews and document health status, medical problems, and psychosocial histories
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic procedures under the direction of a physician
  • Assist physicians in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
  • Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as needed

Requirements


To be successful in this role, candidates must:



  • Hold a current license as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Be certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body
  • Have at least one year of direct experience in a high-acuity clinical specialty
  • Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Healthcare Provider certifications
