Cardinal Health Senior Medical Science Liaison Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in academic and community centers, focusing on radiopharmaceuticals in oncology, neurology, and cardiology.
  2. Develop and execute territory plans aligned with regional and national strategies.
  3. Collaborate across functions and regions to maximize territory opportunities.
  4. Provide technical support to physicians using Cardinal Health NPHS products.
  5. Act as primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and performing investigator-initiated research.
  6. Collaborate with NPHS Clinical Affairs to enhance patient enrollment in NPHS-sponsored clinical trials.
  7. Provide clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited questions in academic, community, and healthcare provider settings.
  8. Lead scientific strategy at medical congresses.
  9. Lead internal and external clinical education programs.
  10. Provide timely feedback on emerging clinical/scientific data and opportunities to internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison or in a similar clinical education role with customer-facing experience.
  2. Radiopharmaceutical experience is required.
  3. Nuclear Medicine certification (CNMT) or MD/DO/PharmD/RN/PhD is strongly preferred.
  4. Bachelor's degree in a scientific field and/or medical discipline is highly preferred.
  5. Current working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations & guidelines to industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
  6. Ability to partner and maintain relationships within the medical community.
  7. Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams and networks.
  8. Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.
  9. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  10. Strong business acumen, project management, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  11. Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and enjoy a problem-solving, fast-paced environment.
  12. Strong customer-facing experience with ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
  13. Ability to travel if needed.
